Car accident leaves students in crisis
A winter car accident ended our trip to volunteer our time with Habitat for Humanity in Omaha, Nebraska. Since then, fighting insurance companies and car rentals has left us, Maria and Miriam, with over $16,000 of debt. We are both paying for our own college educations, and this debt is devastating our futures.
Our dedication and passion for serving our community through Habitat for Humanity led us to organize this trip to spend our winter break building homes. Unfortunately, the accident prevented us from fulfilling that mission and left us in a terrifying financial situation.
All donations will be directly used to pay off the car damages.
Any donation is appreciated more than you can possibly imagine.
Thank you for your support and generosity,
Maria and Miriam
