PLEASE HELP WITH FUNERAL EXPENSES

A loving family is faced with their worst nightmare.
On February 6th Theresa’s husband Geoff collapsed shortly after taking their son Jeffray who has Angelman Syndrome (a rare nuero-genetic disorder) out of the car. After being rushed to Brookhaven Hospital they discovered Geoff’s brain was bleeding. Geoff slipped into a coma and was immediately transferred to Stonybrook. He never regained consciousness. At Stonybrook, Geoff endured 3 surgeries to attempt to drain and control the brain hemorrhage. The family later learned that Geoff had a rare condition known as AVM (arteriovenous malformation) which led to an artery bursting in his brain causing the the brain bleed. The family was told the hemorrhage caused catastrophic damage and 80% of his brain was lost. Geoff lingered on life support until February 16th.
Geoff was the main caretaker of Jeffray and Theresa was their only financial provider. Due to Jeffrays Angelman Syndrome he needs round the clock care. Jeffray is confined to a wheelchair for most of the day and can only walk for short durations. He has no speech skills, poor muscle control and difficulty understanding the world around him. Geoff handled him with love and patience. He was a wonderful father. Jeffray was his world.
Due to the unfortunate events, there has been an unthinkable financial burden put on Theresa and her family. Please help her give Geoffrey the proper funeral that he deserves.
We are also running a flapjack breakfast on March 9th at applebees in Farmingville from 8am-10am. Tickets are $10.00 and all proceeds will go to Theresa and her son Jeffray.

We are asking all family and friends to please come out and support a loving family in need. If you can not make it and would still like to donate, you can drop off whatever you would like to applebees in Farmingville. Thank you
