Ruby is a sweet young Saint that found herself wandering around in California and she must of been hit because when animal control found her she had a broken leg/compound fracture and was a mess. Dirty and in pain. AC took her to a vet that said they would help. Well that didn't happen. She sat in a cage for five (5) days with no help. She was still dirty and no one looked at her leg. They didn't even wrap it and barely gave her pain meds. Well My wonderful friends of Saints Of the West Rescue stepped in to help. This sweet girl had been through enough and needed some real help. They are in Nevada and just could not stand by and watch this sweet girl not get the attention she deserved. They got her to Nevada and took her straight to the vet. She was examined and they wrapped her leg and gave her pain meds and gave her a much needed bath and during her bath they found maggots where the break was... Poor baby. Well now she had her surgery and thank god for the National Rescue they helped to get everything in motion, but more is needed. This is why I am asking for help. She needs check ups ,meds for recovery and bandage changes twice a week. They also need to pay the remaining vet bill. When you donate it will go directly to the vet. Here is the vet information for donations: sierravetspecialists.com This is Ruby's ID number (25809) to use when making a donation. Once we reach our goal the vet will refund the overage to Saints of the West Rescue and it will be used to support the rescue and its future goals. This is a great gift to give for that someone who has everything and loves animals , make a donation in their name. Thanks in advance from me and Ruby and Saints of the West.
