Our dear friend Wendy and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time. Just two days ago Wendy's daughter Kayla - who just welcomed a new baby less than a month ago - was in a horrible car accident. She was airlifted from the scene to a trauma center and has since undergone surgery for multiple serious injuries. Kayla will need total care as she begins the long road to recovery and healing, all while being a new mom to her precious baby boy.

Wendy is having to take time off work to care for Kayla around the clock, while also tending to Kayla's newborn, and supporting her other teenage daughter at home.. This sudden and heartbreaking situation has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on their family.

We're raising funds to help ease some of the burden - from medical and recovery expenses to baby supplies and everyday essentials - so Wendy can focus on what matters most: her family. Any amount, no matter how small will make a meaningful difference for this sweet and deserving family as they navigate the difficult weeks and months ahead.
