On July 28th, 2024, my aunt Imelda was urgently admitted to the hospital due to a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage. She underwent a tube ventriculostomy to relieve the pressure and blood in her brain. As of today, she is still in the ICU under close monitoring, with various tests being conducted to ensure she is ready for another procedure. I am currently residing in Northern California while she currently resides in the Philippines. Other relatives and I have all come together to financially support her through this unfortunate event.

However, because of the rising hospital bills, our family is struggling with financial difficulties. Currently, her bill is at half a million Philippine pesos (approximately $8,700) and it is bound to keep going up since they have ordered for her to stay in the hospital for at least a month for observation.
