For those of you who don't know what is going on, one year old baby Ava had a stroke on December 26, 2015 while visiting family in Ohio for Christmas. She had to undergo brain surgery later that night. The right frontal lobe of her brain is now completely dead. They had to remove the whole right side of her skull to relieve the swelling due to a brain bleed. She is now in a medical induced coma so that her brain can heal while she sleeps. Mommy (Madison) and baby (Ava) are stuck in Ohio until this passes, which could be as long as 3 months, if not more. That means Madison cannot go to work and has to take at least one semester of school off so that she can be in Ohio with her baby girl. They're going to be overflowing with medical bills and extra expenses; such as Ava's very important therapy while she's recovering, food while they're in Ohio and travel expenses to go back to Houston. Not to mention all of Ava's therapy and medicine that she will most likely have to have for many months/ years. If you can donate anything at all to this mommy and baby it would be the best help that they could receive.

Lord please watch over Ava, please continue to heal her and strengthen her. Watch over her mommy and family and give them strength to get through this. Give their family strength and give me strength as I watch my best friend go through this with her child. Please help Ava and her mommy get through this pain and suffering.
