Easing Mom's Burden After Dad's Passing
Donation protected
I'm trying to raise enough money for my father's cremation. On June 20th, my father went for a routine heart procedure at Riverside Hospital. During the procedure, the surgeon punctured my dad's heart, and he started to bleed out, which then led to my dad going into cardiac arrest. CPR was given for 30 minutes, resulting in broken ribs and a collapsed lung, on top of having to be put fully on life support.
Fast forward to Wednesday, he went in for another procedure to remove the fluid and blood around his heart in hopes that it would allow his heart to beat better. On Thursday, we were given the results that the bleeding and the fluid started again, and his heart was only functioning at 10%. We were given two choices, both of which meant death. We either allow them to crack my father's chest, which he would bleed out from, or we remove him from all life support. My father gained his wings on 6/26.
Any amount helps lessen the worry for my family and mostly my mother.
