Shane suffered a stroke Tuesday, July 29th, which led to a 6-day hospitalization. He underwent countless tests to find a cause for an otherwise healthy 37-year-old to have a stroke. He was diagnosed with a PFO, which is a birth defect that causes a hole in the heart that went undetected until it caused such drastic damage. Shane luckily has a good prognosis but requires speech therapy immediately and will be off work for the foreseeable future. He will require ongoing therapies and a procedure to close the hole in his heart. Please contribute to help cover medical bills and costs of living while he is recovering!
