Delilah's Surgery Fund

Anyone who believes that "diamonds are a girl's best friend" has never met me or my big, beautiful puppy, Delilah Jane.  April will make 3 years since I rescued her from abandoment on a back country road near my childhood home and we've been inseperable ever since. She has seen me through countless tough times and many, many struggles but has never failed to shed a little light (and tons of hair) on even the worst days. There have been times that I've wanted to kill her, like when she shredded my favorite pair of shoes or when she ate an entire bag of brown sugar the morning I had a bunch of baking to do. But there are also times that I can't help but just sit back and smile at her, like when she hides unharmed packs of ramen noodles around our apartment for mom to find later (like presents!) or how she will make herself into the tiniest 100 lb ball you've ever seen just to hide under the bench at the vet.
Unfortunately, I've seen her curl into this tiny ball a few too many times over the last few weeks with bad news to follow each time. Delilah needs surgery to repair a torn ACL in her back leg. Until this is repaired and healed, she will not be able to play or run with other dogs or mom. Her poor puppy spirits are breaking! Although she is the light of my life and I would do anything for my sweet girl, I cannot afford her surgery. I am a full time employee and student and am putting myself through school to finally live my dreams of helping others as a Registered Nurse.  I am humbly reaching out to anyone who's life has been touched by my Delilah for a helping hand in her time of need. Any contribution will be so greatly appreciated by us both.
