Hello, my name is Tom Vitaliy and I am someone who has been battling brain cancer since 2014.

I have been through four surgeries (2014, 2015, 2017, and 2023), proton therapy (2017), and chemotherapy (2017-2018). After having clear scans for almost five years, I found out that more cancer has shown up in my brain.

I have been thankfully working since June, 2020, and have been able to return to a pretty normal life. Unfortunately, I found out more cancer has shown up in October, 2022, and I recently had my fourth surgery in January. Update (03/14/2024): I will be going immunotherapy and should start sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I currently owe just over $25,000 in debt (car and medical debt). This is not considering rent, food, gas, phone, parking, and storage bills that I pay monthly as well. I do not expect to be able to continue working, especially when any treatments start.

Most importantly, my girlfriend and I are going to have a son and he is expected to join us in July! As excited as I am for him, I don’t want to be a burden and we will truly appreciate any help we receive.
