Dr Broomberg’s Medical Fund

My husband Dr Barry Broomberg has Advanced Parkinsons Disease and a few months ago had a surgical procedure called Deep Brain Stimulation to improve the condition. Unfortunately his condition deteriorated and he’s been in and out of nursing homes for approximately 7 months. The medical costs are overwhelming for the family and can’t manage to cover all the expenses. My husband only has his Social Security which only pays the rent and I am struggling to bring in enough income. We are supporting my daughter and granddaughter as well and my business has slowed and I’m barely managing to pay the basic household and medical expenses. My husband will probably have to be in a long term care facility in the near future and the “share of costs” is unaffordable for the family. I am asking for help because our situation right now is desperate.
