I never expected to hit rock bottom but here we are... I wanted a fresh start a new beginning, me and my husband have experienced so much loss over the years that it was time. We decided to pack up and move from Florida to North Carolina. We took what little funds we had and got up here. We have a storage unit that holds all our personal effects. We stayed with my mom for a bit until  we got into some trouble for subletting. All the while when we moved up here March 3rd I had a traumatic injury on March 8th. I was walking Ninja my 17 yr old dog and bit the dust over a curbed driveway  my leg went one way my body another. I have a broken tibial plateau an additional stress fracture and a torn mcl ligament in my left leg. I got evicted in the beginning of April. My dog I left in florida due to not having a home passed away. And all this is happening with a pandemic outside.  I am unable to work currently and my husband finally got a job but doesn't pay alot and is part time with very fluctuating hours. We are currently homeless living at a extended stay hotel til June 30th in Greensboro,NC.  After that we will be living in our cars( which im scared to do considering i have a child a broken leg and a dog). We barely have any money to pay for expenses let alone this hotel and 2 car payments, car insurance, phone bills, etc. I have never in my life been this low. The money that I raise for this campaign will help with rental costs of this hotel until I am able to rent with my mom Aug 1st or we go our own way and get a apartment with just us, but nevertheless I would need help with down payments, deposits,etc. I am trying to get these funds as soon as possible. I'd like to be out of this hotel because the cost is over 1200/month not including taxes.  I am trying  to keep our heads above water. I didn't think I would make a go fund me but my friends kept telling me to try it.
I just want to heal and have a home for my child.  This all is so overwhelming especially during a pandemic. I know a lot of people are suffering.
