As many of you know my wife’s mother succumbed to her years long battle with cancer on the evening 11/24. She passed peacefully with family by her side.  She was one of the most caring and loving people that you could ever meet and raised not only her kids, but many others that needed a little help along the way. Nancy was there in the final days of many family members lives and cared for them with love and patience. Her final week was spent under hospice care at the Suncoast Hospice facility in Palm Harbor, FL. with the most amazing and compassionate staff that we could ask for.  For those of you that have relied on hospice care, you know of the amazing work they do.  Many have already reached out about the service arrangements and while the family would love for everyone to come celebrate her life, it’s just not possible with the current situation.  In addition, several have asked about sending flowers or contributions.  The family has asked that in lieu of that, you consider making a donation for a commemorative plaque to be placed at the hospice facility in her name. It would be a wonderful way to honor her life sacrifices and to support a great organization. The plaque is $1000, but any and all money raised will go  to hospice.  No donation is too small.
