Bryan Padgett originally from Holly Ridge, now a resident of Hampstead, has been like a brother-in-law to me for almost ten years now.He recently was diagnosed after a routine sinus surgery with a rare nasosinus carcinoma. It is an aggressive disease that has already begun to take a heavy toll on his health and daily life. If anyone knows my sister Kelly Howe, they already know that her medical contacts helped get him to UNC. He is currently under going weekly chemo infusions in conjunction with twice daily radiation. He has on-average 12-15 appointments a week. He will likely be in treatment for a minimum of 6 weeks with many other appointments to come once home. This road has not been easy and will not be easy. Between treatments, travel, medications and the time he will be unable to work, the financial strain is over whelming. He is also the single parent of two teen boys. Thats why I created this GoFundMe. Anyone who knows Bryan knows how loving, giving and non-expecting of anything he truely is. Now he's in the hardest battle of his life and he needs us to stand with him. Every donation, no matter what size will go to Bryan's medical expenses, housing and travel needs, and support he needs during this journey.
