Meet Adrian Gomez.

To those that know him, Adrian is a humble, quiet, hardworking individual who would never ask for a handout from anyone.

But he and his family need our help.

Adrian is a farmer.

Farming is an inherently dangerous job.

On Thursday, 8/7/2025, he was seriously injured when the Farm-All cultivating tractor he was operating flipped backward and landed on top of him, crushing him & pinning him for more than an hour.

A multi-agency rescue was coordinated, and once freed, he was flown to Baystate medical center in MA in critical condition.

Against all odds, Adrian survived, but now faces a long and difficult road to recovery.

While he sustained multiple broken bones & fractures, and is experiencing limited use of his right arm (which was pinned under the steering wheel the entire time), he miraculously escaped without life-threatening internal or head injuries.

Despite the pains of recovery, Adrian’s spirit remains strong.

Adrian is a dedicated young man—working full-time as a farmer while pursuing a carpentry apprenticeship on evenings and weekends.

He’s been chasing the American dream with tireless determination to build a better life along with his siblings.

Several of them are sharing the caregiving now that he is back home recovering.

Adrian is the best of us.

My name Kevin Bowler.

I have worked with Adrian at the same farm in Central MA since 2023.

The funds raised will be used to cover loss of wages (he was injured during the busiest time of the farming season), medical co-pays & other gaps in medical coverage.

Adrian's siblings – who he lives with – have experienced some loss of income when caring for him & he plans to help them in recouping some of those losses.
