Dear friends, family, and colleagues.

It's been several weeks since I last posted an update. After additional MRI’s, PET CT scans, and lymph node biopsy (which were negative) my oncology team confirmed my cancer is stage 3. Today starts my first day of daily chemotherapy/ radiation treatment which includes a couple of infusions along with twice daily chemo pills. This will go on for 6 weeks. Some of you privately suggested I post an update. Unexpected medical and other misc. expenses have popped up and since my initial hospital admission on June 5, I have not been able to work as I’m mostly in a horizontal position due to the location of the tumor. I’m so grateful for everyone’s loving support with your calls, cards, messages, memes, prayers, etc. If you’re able to contribute to this GoFund me campaign or not, please know that your support over these weeks means the world.
