Help Melissa Fight Cancer

 

My beautiful cousin Melissa was first diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer at age 39. She underwent 15 Chemotherapy treatments, 25 rounds of radiation, as well as a Bilateral (double) Mastectomy.

She emerged with a clean bill of health and determined to live her best life and enjoy her 16 year old daughter, husband and her extended family and friends.

 

Fast forward 7.5 years later to 2022 and the return of the Cancer. The prognosis and expected outcome of treatment in Canada for her specific cancer is not promising and does not offer a definitive cure. The treatments offer little quality of life and awful side effects, and will eventually stop working.  She was told it would simply "buy her time"

 

Melissa has decided to undergo treatment at an integrative Centre of Excellence for personalized Oncology in Phoenix, Arizona.  This medical centre has cutting edge technology that is not yet available in Canada. She has been in contact with many patients who have undergone treatment here and continue to enjoy quality of life while giving their bodies a fighting chance at rebuilding immunity to fight off cancer cells, targeted chemotherapy, which come with minimal side effects,  as well as many other wholistic and natural treatments in conjunction with western medicine.

The only downside to this treatment is the cost. The treatment plan can be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 USD, not including the cost of living in Arizona while receiving treatment as well as her eventual reduction in income.
