Hi my name is Kathleen. On Saturday April 15th my husband Scott who is a truck driver, who was hauling a load through oregon suffered a massive brain stroke while he was parked at a truck stop. He is currently in a hospital in Eugene oregon. We live in texas and I flew out to Eugene to be with him. He is being transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center here in oregon for three weeks or so. The Doctors have recommended that I stay in oregon with him during his rehab, so I can take caregiver classes and help be his mental support during this difficult time. Unfortunately that means that neither one of us is working and getting paid. All donations we receive will go to cover Scott’s medical bills and keep us a float for the next month. We ask also for your prayers for Scott as he is one this journey and pray that he makes a full recovery.
