My name is Liliana Mendez, and I’m currently a senior in high school.

My grandma has always been a huge role model in my life and someone I aspire to be. My grandma is a teacher aide for GISD, her students are held dearly to her heart. Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s now facing a long journey of treatments, doctor visits, and recovery, and we want to make sure she can focus on healing without the heavy burden of financial stress.
