Help for Bailey

Hi, anyone that knows me (us), knows that I am the most private person in the entire world and that is why this is the MOST difficult thing in the world for me to do, but here goes. Our precious Golden Retriever Bailey developed what we were told is an ACL tear this past week. She appears to be in extreme pain. I was offered an appointment with a specialist 3 weeks down the road and then another 1-2 weeks after that. She just couldn’t wait that long. Upon begging and pleading, I was offered an appointment for surgery for this coming Monday. To my complete astonishment, I was presented with an estimate of $5664.16. This comes after the $652 I paid to the first vet just to diagnose the problem. I truly LOVE my animals more than life itself, and have saved and rescued so so so many and will continue to do so. Life has thrown us many curve balls over many years, and we seem to always come out on the other side. I am truly putting my heart on my sleeve by asking for help and BY NO MEANS, I SWEAR, is anyone obligated to help. I just thought, I might put it out there.
