Fell down stairs- Amy needs help!

A fellow animal lover and boxer dog owner NEEDS our HELP. Many of you may know Amy McTigue. She’s been a long time volunteer of animal rescue over the years. She’s held many on line fundraisers and helped with many on line auctions to raise money to help out 501c3 animal rescues. She has also helped out personal animal owners in need too. She rallies on social media to network the needs of animal rescues or animal shelters are asking for.

As Amy is a very independent person. It’s not in her nature to ask for help. Life has made her a strong person in general. She lost both her parents tragically and unexpectedly early in her life.

Through all her depression and despair, She pulled herself up by the bootstraps and put herself through nursing school to earn a BSN. She was the first in her family to go to college and graduate from college.

She fell down stairs ( no hand rails ). She has several injuries from this accident

She deals with nerve pain daily and will need several different surgeries in the near future. She’s not been medically cleared to work. This is making it very difficult to pay bills with no income.

Amy being the only breadwinner, she has been struggling as she’s not one to ask for help. Those close to her have helped her where they can. Yet financial help is needed in order for her to survive.

Can we all please pull together to give an honest fellow human, a friend, an animal lover and fellow volunteer of animal rescues some much needed help ???

She’s done so much for others as a nurse of 24 years in our hospitals and many years volunteering in animal / dog rescue. She’s a very caring person with a bigger heart. Any help is appreciated.
