Hi, my name is Sara. This fundraising page is for my aunt Chrissy who was diagnosed with Stage 4 small cell lung cancer at the beginning of November. Due to other health issues the cancer went unnoticed, until Chris was taken to the hospital because she was struggling to breathe. The cancer is aggressive and has overtaken her right lung. Spots were also found on the liver, adrenal gland and brain. Even with a tough diagnosis Chris is ready to fight! She has already fought off pneumonia and completed round 1 of chemo.

She has a kind heart and has worked her entire adult life caring for those of special needs and abilities. Unfortunately, Chrissy has been out of work since her diagnosis and has no paid time left. As she continues to fight this cancer, her bills will still be there. If she’s unable to return to work, her insurance premiums go unpaid not to mention all of the medical bills that have already started to come in.

Chrissy would never ask for help, even though she’s the first person to help others. She’s the independent woman that just figures out a way to do it herself, so I’m asking on her behalf for support in her fight!
