Katie suffered a heart attack while driving on September 24, 2025. Paramedics were able to bring her back with CPR, but she has been diagnosed with brain anoxia. She has been at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC ICU since the accident on life support. They are treating her and trying to see what damage has occurred from the accident.
