Please support PDX tattoo artist Emma during ovarian cancer treatment.

My amazing sister Emma has been battling ovarian cancer since her surprise diagnosis in July 2023 at the age of 35. While her situation is extremely rare so there are few comparable cases, doctors were initially hopeful that surgery and 6-8 months of chemotherapy would achieve remission. Unfortunately she only experienced a brief respite and had to enter treatment again this year without a definite end in sight.

Emma has always followed her passion in life - from moving across the country from Buffalo to Portland in 2015, to playing and serving on the board of our local roller derby league, to ditching her finance job in 2021 to follow her dream of becoming a tattoo artist. Unfortunately, since household and medical bills don't stop for cancer, she's had to continue working full time through her treatment and that is no longer sustainable.

Emma needs our help now so she can take time off work - battling cancer needs to be her only full time job. Our ultimate goal is to support all her bills for 6 months, but we'll start start small because every little bit helps.
