I, Sandy O'Neill, a friend and co-worker, put this campaign together for Jose because there were so many generous offers of support and wanting to help we wanted to give those who asked a way to contribute. The hope was that when he got out of the hospital he would have something to help his recovery.

Since Jose did not make it out of hospital the money will go towards hospital stay and funeral expenses. Upon withdraw of the money from the Go Fund Me I will  reimburse myself for the funeral expenses for which I wrote a check and will write a check for the remainder and give it to Hector Santiago for the family for other expenses incurred. 

I know everyone was very appreciative of all the contributions and show of support extended during this trying time.

Our dear friend, brother, son and boyfriend and co-worker, Jose Santiago ended up in the hospital with influenza and pneumonia at the beginning of March and he is still there. He continues to fight as the doctors, family and friends do everything in their power to get him better.

There have been many inquiries into Jose’s health and how to help. Any little bit helps and any donation will be appreciated by Jose and his family to help him through this tough time.

Nuestro querido amigo, hermano, hijo, novio y compañero de trabajo, José Santiago, terminó en el hospital con influenza y neumonía a principios de marzo y todavía está allí. Él continúa luchando mientras los médicos, familiares y amigos hacen todo lo posible para mejorarlo.

Ha habido muchas consultas sobre la salud de José y sobre cómo ayudar. José y su familia agradecerán cualquier ayuda y cualquier donación para ayudarlo en este difícil momento.
