Help My Dad Meet His 1st Grandchild

Hello! My name is Julia Fristedt. My family is a tight-knit Minnesota one and when we found out my twin sister, Laura, was having her first baby we were overly excited. My dad, Brent, and my mom, Nancy, are great parents and they'd be amazing active grandparents. The only roadblock they've run into is that Laura lives out in Washinton state. We had a trip planned this coming fall to bring my dad out there to meet his adorable first granddaughter. Sadly, my dad had an accident this early spring. When trying to remove a bunch of snow off of their roof, the ladder slipped out from under him and he fell about 7ft landing on his back and left side. Nothing but his muscles broke his fall. He broke 13 bones. Four of which punctured his left rib and made his lung collapse. His left hand and his spine make up the other 9 fractures. Thankfully he is mending up well, but he's still got a ways to go. However, this did not sway him from wanting to visiting his granddaughter; if anything it made it more important. Unfortunately, the medical bills are starting to roll in and all the money we had saved and were planning to put aside for the trip now have to go towards the medical payments. He is a proud man, so asking for some assistance in financial matters rarely comes up. So after a few conversations I got his OK to put this campaign together, so he can finally meet his very cute first granddaughter, Ms. Reagan Novak. I can't wait to see the look on the new Grandpa's face when he gets to hold little Reagan for the very first time. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated!
