Ray's Funeral and Memorial

As many of you know, our father, Raymond Lovell Hickam, passed away, unexpectedly on October 6th, 2018 at 7:56 p.m.  The morning of October 6th, Raymond's mother found him asleep and unresponsive with shallow breathing. When the paramedics arrived, he was brought to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon where they discovered bleeding on his brain. He was then life-flighted to OHSU in Portland, Oregon where they would try and operate on him to stop the bleeding in his brain. Upon arrival, they made the prognosis that his condition would not make it through the surgery and that his recovery from this was non-existent.  His cause of death was from an aneurysm along with many small strokes in his brain. 

Raymond will be remembered as a man that would do anything for anyone. He was selfless and every single time...he'd put others needs above his own. He always had so much love to give no matter the situation. Ray will be truly missed in the eyes of his loved ones.
