Help for Joey

On Friday January 27th, Joey was found face down in the bed and was unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital and they determined he was suffering from a ruptured aneurysm in his brain (a hemorrhage stroke), and he was life flighted to Kennestone hospital for surgery.

They were able to stop the bleeding, but they found clotting around the area of the aneurysm. The clotting caused a second stroke (ischmic stroke), which was discovered during a CT scan 12 hours after surgery.

The nurses and doctors at Kennestone have been amazing, and they have told us to prepare for a marathon. He is going to be in ICU for a while, and we have no idea what his long term recovery will look like.

So many people have offered to help, so we have setup this fundraiser where people can help.
