Shiva's Medical Expenses

Aloha-- For those of you that are lucky enough to know Jacci + Shiva, you know what a spiritual, loving connection the two of them share. They were able to speak the same language, just how you imagine best friends to. Jacci is the type of person to help anyone she can; she would give you the shirt off her back if she could. She is a friend that you can always call in need, and she would show up. On top of helping humans, she has also fostered and saved more animals' lives than we can count. Only a dog as great as Shiva could be partnered with such an incredible, selfless owner. Shiva was the spark of energy at every gathering. She was the sweetest and friendliest girl, who loved to play with everyone. Everywhere Jacci brought Shiva, followed a rainbow of their loving energy. This past fall, Shiva had an accident where she injured her front leg. Over months and months of Jacci's devoted care, love, and the entire community rallying for Shiva's recovery; it was deemed necessary for Shiva to have the limb removed. Our poor Shiva did not survive the procedure, and she crossed the rainbow bridge. The loss of sweet Shiva is devastating to everyone who knew her, and the last thing we want is our sister, Jacci, to worry about the medical expenses Shiva had acquired during all of her treatments since the initial injury, and the cost of the surgery. All fundraising efforts will go to Jacci, so she can mourn in peace and heal her heart, without worrying about the financial strain of losing our Shiva girl.
