Hello Friends and Family!

As many of you know, my son, PJ, was unexpectedly admitted to UCSF Children's Hospital on July 21, 2025 in Heart Failure. He was very sick and the doctors quickly determined that he would need a heart transplant. Sadly, PJ's health declined very quickly, and while waiting for a transplant, he underwent open heart surgery to implant a LVAD (heart pump) that will keep his heart and lungs working until a donor organ is identified.

The medical team estimates that he will wait about a year in the hospital for a heart.

This is difficult for our entire family, and has impacted us in many ways. We are humbly spreading the word to those interested in donating during this difficult time. Donations will go towards hospital activities/toys and birthday decorations/gifts for PJ, as well as assistance with our daily expenses (food, gas, etc.).
