Welcome to the JMU Club Rowing Fundraising page!
A little bit about ourselves:
JMU Rowing is a relatively young program; we started rowing in the spring of 2007. We've made leaps and bounds of progress since and have a solid group of people dedicated to making sure that we continue to move the club forward.
We are an entirely student run sport club program at the university, which allows us to use JMU Recreation (UREC) facilities and receive partial funding. However due to the cost of rowing eqipment which includes boats, oars, launches for coaching, motors, racks, and ergs, we need even more funding.
Our goal is to raise enough money to buy:
1. A new motor for our launch
2. New metal racks to replace our decaying wooden ones which are about to break soon...
3. Ergs to get faster- we only have 7 for a team of 40!
4. And we always need money for more boats as our team keeps expanding!
Please donate as much as you can- $5 will even be greatly appreciated!
We want to be the best that we can be and show the other teams that have enough money to afford brand new boats and equipment, that our student run team can function just as well as they can.
