Stephen Surles Memorial College Savings Fund

Stephen Michael Surles was a friend to many, and was genuinely admired by friends and colleagues in the mountains of Georgia and in western and coastal North Carolina.  Stephen was a source of inspiration including to many young children in Southeastern NC who knew him as "Coach Stephen".  Stephen succumbed to complications of cancer in Spring 2020.  This GoFundMe aims to contribute to a college savings fund for Stephen's two young children. This fund has been established to help in the educational aspirations of Stephen and Rachel Surles's children so that they may experience the strong start that both parents, in their roles as educators, work to instill in children ... Education aiming at the lifelong goals to be healthy, content and wise.
