72 year old veteran - 100 Mile cycle for British Legion
My name is Bob Goodman and I am a retired Royal Navy Veteran who served for 12 years.
At the ripe age of 72, I have decided to cycle from Bath to Reading to raise funds for the Plympton Royal Legion. 100% of funds will go directly to the organisation.
Whilst this is everyday fundraising, I would like to let you know about a few key initiatives that your generous donations will be supporting.
- Ripple effect - A free swimming program for veterans for mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Centenary celebration and remembrance of the branch. Boosting the ability to support Veterans, families and active serving personnel in their daily lives.
