Hi, my name is Josh. On the 14th of August, I’ll be taking on the challenge of playing 100 holes of golf in one day at Kettering Golf Club to raise money for two mental health charities of his parents, Sean and Alona’s choice, in loving memory of my best friend, Kieran. These two charities will be The Brotherhood Men’s Groups and Johnnys Happy Place both located in the Kettering area where Kieran lived his entire life. All donations will be split 50/50 across both.

Kieran was the most kind, caring, thoughtful and hilarious person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was my best friend and I’ve known him my whole life, there will forever be a gap in my life that only he fits. Losing Kieran to suicide is something that will stay with me forever. His passing has been heartbreaking, and it has shown me just how important it is that people struggling with their mental health have somewhere to turn and know they are never alone.

This challenge is my way of remembering Kieran, celebrating his life, and hopefully making a difference for others who may be facing battles we can’t always see.

Playing 100 holes in a single day will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the daily struggles that so many people quietly live with. If this challenge helps raise awareness, encourages even one person to reach out, or helps fund support that saves a life, then every step will be worth it.

I’m asking for your support, whether that’s through a donation or simply by sharing this page. Every pound raised will go towards helping people who need mental health support and giving hope to those who may feel like they have none.

This challenge is for you, Kieran. You’ll always be remembered, always be missed, and never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can honour Kieran’s memory and help make a difference.
