My stepfather John Lane passed away unexpectedly on February 3rd, 2019. He was 61 years old. John worked for Lockheed Martin for 31 years and was an Air Force Veteran and an avid dog lover. He was a great man and a wonderful dad to me and my brother Christopher Lane. Christopher is having an extremely difficult time coping emotionally and financially since his father's passing. There is no life insurance and John's retirement savings is all but depleted due to financial difficulties John experienced after retirement. John did not have a will or trust setup so the house has to go through the probate process which can take 15 - 18 months before it can be inherited by Christopher. This fundraiser is to assist Christopher in paying to start the probate process and to allow him to get current on all of the lapsed bills so he can remain in the house. Unfortunately the house is in need of extensive repairs. John also leaves behind 3 very large, but very sweet dogs, Ceasar, Bruiser and Mary (Daddy's girl), that Christopher is caring for.
