We are raising funds for expenses involved with traveling to the 14th International Fragile X Conference in Orange County, California from July 16-20, 2014.


Our 14 year old son was born with Fragile X Syndrome which is a genetic condition that causes intellectual disabilities, behavioral and learning challenges. Fragile X is the most common inherited cause of developmental disabilities. As many as 1 in 130 females are carriers and have a 50/50 chance of having a child with Fragile X. 1 in 3,600 males are born with the full mutation. Attending this conference as a family will allow us to gain information and support from the Fragile X community. We will be able to discover the latset research by worldwide experts and gain techniques, behavioral interventions and coping strategies.
