Rollz For Rachel!

My name is Rachel Meyer. I'm 28 years old and I'm severely chronically ill. At the age of seven my left leg was amputated from a severe boat accident. Although it was a traumatic change when I was so young, I managed to overcome my disability and live a pretty normal life. That changed in June of 2017. Just three short weeks after giving birth to my beautiful daughter, a gallstone formed and got caught in my pancreatic duct causing my pancreas to necrotize and wreak havoc on the rest of my digestive tract. My chances for survival were slim but I pulled through, but I survived at a terrible cost. I ended up with a very large, open abdominal wound with several fistulas throughout my small bowel. Over the past two years I've been in and out of the hospital, fighting for my life. I've lost count of how many surgeries I've had to try and put me back together. In the end I've lost majority of my digestive tract and I still have several fistulas that drain bodily fluids from my abdomen. My illness is very rare and it has drastically changed my life, my health, my strength, and my mobility. The Rollz Motion2 is a 2-in-1 walker and wheelchair that is lightweight and easily changes between the two modes. With this Rollz Motion2 device I will have better control over my mobility. Giving me the opportunity to walk with the walker when I feel strong and able to build that strength more, and switch to the wheelchair when my wounds and pain prevent me from walking.
