Flood Relief for Merlyn Beamis

Merlyn Beamis lives in Valley in West Dodge County, Nebraska where the flood has completely taken over the land. His home and his trailer are covered in 6 feet of standing water. He and his dogs were able to make it out - they took his car and were able to drive out so they didn’t have to take boat rescue. Unfortunately, that means all he has today are the clothes on his back.With living in a flood plain, flood insurance is extremely expensive. Merlyn didn’t have this, like many others that have been impacted by these waters. That means he’s completely starting over, from scratch. No home. No possessions. He’s lost everything.We’re starting this page to help Merlyn so he has something to rebuild with. Merlyn is such a kind and giving person - we want to make sure he receives during this time of need.
