Help keep 706 On the Move!
The cadets of 706 Ottawa Snowy Owl Air Cadet Squadron will be holding its 2018 Hike-a-Thon Fundraiser on Saturday October 13th and are seeking your support.
For nearly 60 years, 706 Squadron has provided leadership, survival, fitness, and of course aviation activities for area youth. The air cadet program, a partnership between the Air Cadet League of Canada and the Department of National Defence prepares today’s youth to be the leaders of tomorrow. While National Defence provides funding for the core training program, the remainder of the costs, for activities, facilities and equipment are offset by fundraising. ****Please continue reading below for more details of how to support***

As part of their upcoming Fall Field Training Exercise, altogether the cadets will be hiking a cumulative 706 km. Support your favourite cadet and make a donation to help keep our squadron On the Move! As part of the Hike-a-Thon, each cadet is asked to fundraise $76 in order to meet our fundraising goal. Charitable tax receipts are available, upon request, for donations totaling 10$ or more.

When making a GoFundMe Pledge, please ensure you indicate the name of the cadet you are supporting in the "Leave a comment" section. This will help us track their progress for awarding prizes! Should you prefer not to pledge via GoFundMe, you can make a donation by cash or cheque by contacting your cadet and completing the pledge form. Cheques are to be made out to the ‘706 Ottawa Snowy Owl Air Cadet Squadron’. E-transfers are also accepted! Send your E-transfer to [email redacted]. Please ensure you indicate the cadets that you are supporting in the "e-transfer comments"
Thank you in advance for supporting 706 Squadron.
