Please Help The Logan Stroud Family

Donation protected
On the night of May 23, 2019 tragedy struck the Stroud family when youngest son Logan was killed in a freak accident at the Moultrie Creek Boat Ramp. I was there with my dog Bruno and was speaking to the family when the accident occurred. They were frequent visitors to the boat ramp park and on this particular night saw a large creature in the water that we determined was probably a dolphin on a feeding run through the creek. After several minutes of watching for the creature, a series of unfortunate events occurred that would turn this balmy spring night into every family's nightmare, the loss of a child's life. I was the only witness to the accident and immediately called 911. Within minutes sheriffs deputies arrived at the scene and began administering life saving services. Moments later Logan was transported to Flagler Hospital and subsequently life flighted to Shands Jacksonville. I stayed with Logan's brother and mother consoling them the best I could. I then provided my testimony to a deputy and stayed until the family departed. I didn't know the family despite us both being frequent visitors to the Moultrie Creek Boat Ramp however, in the little time we shared together I did see a close, loving family who enjoyed the outdoors and cherished their time together. I started this go fund me campaign to assist the family in funeral expenses for little Logan and grief counseling to help cope with their loss. Clearly no amount of money can alleviate the immeasurable pain the Stroud family is experiencing however i feel easing the financial burden of a funeral can at least allow them to grieve without that concern. Please help however you feel you can. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Stroud family.

Love to all,
