My crazy, adrenaline-loving, coffee drinking, excitable friend Justine is originally from South Africa and is very close to becoming British. She has two wonderful children, both born here in the UK, and has worked tirelessly to make this country her home. She has also mastered the polite British arts of queuing, apologising when it is not her fault, and knowing exactly when it is time for a cup of tea.

Justine has already passed her British citizenship test, she knows her history, her geography, and can even sing the national anthem (almost) perfectly. The last step is the application fee, which is £1,753. That’s where we hope you might be able to help.

Justine has worked so hard to make the UK a home for her and her two children. She contributes to her community, pays her taxes on time (probably more punctually than most of us would admit), and can talk about the weather, tea, and biscuits for at least 15 minutes without missing a beat. She deserves the security and peace of mind that comes with citizenship — not just for herself, but so she can keep raising her children in the country they were born in, fully embracing rainy days, polite queues, and the occasional cuppa without any lingering worries.
