As an update to all friends and dear supporters:

I created this fundraiser because I lacked the financial means to cover my tuition payments. It was a crossroads for me: either drop out of school or ask my friends to help me collect the money. I am deeply thankful to everyone who contributed and shared the call. Because of you, I have now covered my full tuition and can finally focus on my studies with peace of mind.

I am keeping this fundraiser open as a reminder of those difficult days and of the people who helped me stand up and continue my education, so I can further advance in my career in the development field. It will also remain open in case anyone wishes to contribute toward my monthly living expenses as a student.

Once again, many thanks to everyone who supported me with my tuition payments.

I am Kamran Azizli, a student in Paris and need your help to complete my program.

Have you thought about access to quality education for those with fewer opportunities? I have, but I cannot say institutions live up to that promise. Still, I believe change and development come with knowledge, experience and the right push from the community itself. With enough of these, we have the power to move the world. Holding on to this hope, shaped by my years in civil society, I have worked with the youth, farmers and communities pushing for human and environmental rights across Azerbaijan and internationally through Sweden. Growing up poor, I believed education and knowledge sharing could lift me and others out of poverty and bring dignity and decent living for all.

I guess my dream hasn’t changed since then, except that I am still lacking financial needs, yet believing the power of knowledge could bring change. Now I have been accepted for a Master’s in Economics in Paris, but my savings barely keep food on the table, and I fall behind on tuition payments due at this moment. That is why I am reaching out to my community, friends, and kind-hearted people to give me a chance to finish this program, thus I can give back through international work in sustainability, focusing on access to climate justice, equitable rights, and social inclusion for those in need. I want to push public policies to deliver measurable impact and build the change we wish to see in our societies.

Therefore, I am asking for your support to complete my education!

€10 will help me to complete my program.

Help me to reach 700 people. €7000 to hit the goal.

Warmly,

Kamran Azizli
