7 Year Old Waylon Diagnosed With Leukaemia

Hello everyone, we are starting this GoFundMe page in support for my nephew Waylon and his family. Mom and dad; Jesse and Amanda, sister Khloe (9) and Tyson (4).

Waylon is a bright and energetic child who brings a light and smile to every room he enters and every person he comes across. He loves playing hockey at the Kinsman Arena on his Tim Hortons hockey team. And going to scouts at Hastings First scouts club. He attends elementary school in Peterborough.

On Friday January 24, 2025, Waylon was diagnosed with a childhood leukaemia (ALL). Since then, he has undergone very painful testing in supporting a treatment plan. He has remained very brave, and accepting of this so far.

As you can imagine there is going to be extensive costs for his family to support his treatment plan. i.e. travel/ gas, lost wages/income, parking, childcare, food, home health services, and special medical equipment to name a few.

He is presently at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, and according to doctors and staff will have treatment there and then transfer to the Ronald McDonald House. His treatment will be extensive and prolonged perhaps for years.
