As our time at Covenant Seminary is drawing to a close, we feel the Lord has been drawing us to pursue working for RUF (Reformed University Fellowship), The campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. In order explore this call, we have decided to attend RUF Campus Minister Assessment in Atlanta this summer, July 12-14!
RUF Assessment is essentially an intensive, highly relational interview process developed by RUF to assess our gifts, personalities, strengths and weaknesses. RUF Assessment is the first step towards becoming an RUF Campus Minister, which you can learn more about here: http://www.ruf.org/pages/jobs
Would you prayerfully consider joining us in this first step towards sharing the gospel with university students? The cost of Assessment is $1500, which we need to raise by May 13th! The extra $150 we have added to help cover transportation costs. Any little bit helps!
We are excited about this opportunity to explore the ways God has shaped us, and gain insight into what sort of context he might be calling us to serve. We're very excited!
RUF has meant so much to us over the years: We we're involved in RUF as undergraduates, and served as campus interns after college. Through these experiences, the Lord has given us hearts for sharing the gospel to college students. Most importantly, we met each other while working for RUF! We love this ministry, and we feel very blessed to have the opportunity to pursue full-time work with them.
Finally, we want you to know that our decision to raise support to go to RUF Assessment is more than just asking people for money. We want to build relationships with people who want to learn about, pray for, and support the work of bringing the gospel to the college campus. We want you to be a part of this ministry, and whether you can join us financially or not , we would love to have your prayers!
