 After overcoming back surgery, two heart attacks, an extended hospital stay, multiple stents, and a mini-stroke, I’m fighting hard to put the pieces of my life back together.

Through my medical ordeals, my car insurance lapsed, and I missed paying minor tickets. I can’t afford to get my vehicle back on the road, so I’m unable to travel to jobs. I was heartbroken when a recent gig as a live-in caretaker at a mobile home park fell through.

Now I’m hitting the pavement once again, hat in hand.

I’m working hard to turn things around in 2024. Due to my stroke, my license is restricted, and I can only work a few hours a day. I’ve worked hard my entire life. I can’t express how difficult it is for me to ask for money, but I’m looking for a break.

Any contribution toward keeping the heat on, paying the bills, and, most importantly, getting my vehicle back on the road would be appreciated beyond words. Your generosity humbles me.
