Hi my name is Emma, and this is my beloved baby brother.
He is such a joy to our family and has the biggest heart. He is intelligent, kind, and so funny.
He always has new information to share or a story to tell. He loves reading, shooting guns, looking out for his siblings, fixing up four-wheelers and cars.
He's 22 and still has so much life to live.

Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in October of 2017 after a nose bleed that wouldn't stop.
Since being diagnosed, he has battled courageously every step, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him.
He has gone through many rounds of chemotherapy, two Car T Cell immunotherapies, and one bone marrow transplant.
Each of these therapies has required 100 day stays near the hospital.
For the first two, he was able to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald and Hope house. Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions, we cannot house him there for his second bone marrow transplant. Jacobs transplant will take place at the beginning of May limiting our financial options.

The average cost for housing near the hospital is $3500-5000 a month. So for three months of housing our family is looking at a minimum price of $10,000. So we are asking for help for half.
We are so grateful for your help and support over the last four years. There are no words for the strength it has given Jacob and us to keep fighting. We are so hopeful this next transplant will be the answer to our prayers

Update: Jacobs Car T Cell is starting to fail and there are traces of Leukemia still in his DNA. With all things considered and the aggressiveness of his cancer they are moving his transplant up. Monday he goes in to get his work up, and the transplant around the March 26th. My brother Nephi is the donor, he was for the first time and luckily able to again for the second.
