Please Help Me Save My Inherited Home

My name is Joseph Almo and this is my wife Terri on the right and our daughter Arianna in the middle. I have been 100% disabled since birth, I was born with an extremely rare condition called Cloacal Exstrophy of the Bladder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloacal_exstrophy . Some of my organs were outside of my abdomen which caused me to have to endure over 50 major surgical procedures since my birth. Our daughter Arianna is unfortunately disabled also, special needs, her condition is called Apraxia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apraxia. We have been trying to make it off of my single Social Security check that's recently been reduced from $722 to $608 per month because I attempted to work for a couple of months last summer. They recently cut my medicare off completely and now I have no medical insurance whatsoever.
When I was 9 my father passed away leaving my mother with the burden of raising 3 boys of which one, me, was severly handicapped. She worked in a nursing home for retired Nuns cleaning bed pans amongst other things to make ends meet in order to pay off the house in Long Island, NY. In 2002 my mother passed away and left me a small inheritance which enabled me to put a small down payment on the home we are currently and desperately trying to save in Ormond Beach, FL. The home is all we have and is in great need of many repairs from a leaking roof, bad plumbing and electrical, and floors collapsing due to age and settling. Our house was built in the early 1900's.
We are now 8 months behind in mortgage payments and we can barely keep our utilities on, and struggling to keep our truck. We're trusting and believing God for a miracle. It's not easy to ask for help, but at this point I have to swallow my pride, step out and ask for others help in order to keep my family sheltered.
I hate to use the word desperate but it is the only word I can think of to describe our situation. We are trying to negotiate a mortgage modification with our bank which has been disapproved once already but we're still trying again with another one,
which seems like its taking forever. If we do not get approved for a modification, we will be forced by their proceding with a forclosure and in turn as a last resort, try and sell our home and lose the inheritance that was paid for by the blood, sweat, and tears of my mother. May God bless you all for hearing our heart. Please help us save our inherited home. No donation is too small or will go unnoticed. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Joseph & Terri Almo
