Good Afternoon
My name is Steven Mowels and I need your help. A little over a month ago my doctors informed me that I am going to need a kidney transplant. Now here is where I need help. I do have insurance however here is the draw back. With my insurance I have a $500.00 deductible and then a payout of $3500.00 or a total of $4000.00 before my insurance kicks in. That is not so much until you figure that I am an hourly employee. I have a choice I can pay for the medical or I can pay my bills and buy food but I cannot do both. I know what you are thinking $4000.00 is not a lot and I should be able to stretch it over several months but it is not like that. It breaks down like this:
Medicine $4000.00(my share)
Evaluation $12000.00 + $4000.00(my share)
Operation $200,000.00 + $4000.00(my share)
Recovery (1 year) $100,000.00 + $4000.00(my share)
$312,000.00 + $16,000.00(my share)
As you can see my share adds up real quick. These figures are based on the perfect scenario. If anything goes wrong then we are looking at additional expense.
I could sure use your help. I want to be able to pay my $16,000.00 in medical bills but I also want be able to live my normal life by paying my bills. I figure to do both I am going to need roughly $29,000.00. I am going to be out of work completely for about 4 months.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
