Neptune's Ocean Warriors is a group of inner city students from Denver working to change the way we think about the oceans in land-locked states.  We are educating Denver kids through engaging presentations at their schools, lobbying for a ban on plastic bags, and engaging our community in understanding their impact on the oceans.  

As part of our efforts, we have also established a branch of NOW called Ocean Ambassadors.  We are raising money to take a trip to Los Angeles where we can learn first-hand about the ocean.  With this experience, we will return to our school and educate our peers on the environment.  We hope to replicate this trip with a new group of Ocean Ambassadors each year.

Our successful trip will include room and board at Occidental College, presentations from marine biologists, a trip to The Aquarium of the Pacific, and an educational boat excursion.  The cost to sponsor a student is approximately $600.
