Support Rudy With His Battle With ALS

I think it would be an understatement to say Rudy Mariscal has been througha lot these last 18 months.  He first went to the doctor because he was having trouble with his speech.  After numerous tests they found a tumor on his thyroid, which was found to be cancerous.  After 2 surgeries, radiation and then extensive physical therapy Rudy was noticing that he was not getting stronger, but in fact was getting weaker in his arms and legs.  His speech was also deteriorating more than it already had.  Again he starting going through another round of endless tests to try and figure out what was going on, and that is when the Doctors came back with the devestating diagnosis of ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) just 2 months ago.

Rudy's wife Kendra has worked with me for the past 13 years, and even through all of this she comes to work with a smile on her face with the sole purpose of helping our Dental Patients.  Even though Rudy and Kendra met later in lives I can honestly say they are soulmates.  That is why we are trying to help them through these difficult times.

Just last week Rudy was measured for his wheelchair and also getting consults on having a feeding tube placed.  The amount of  money that will be needed to secure everything for Rudy's needs will be staggering.  They will also need to buy a handicapped accessable Van in order to get Rudy around.  Other costs that we are hoping to raise money for just  to name a few will be getting their house more wheelchair accessable, and Rudy will need constant care from trained professionals.

I am asking for help for Rudy and Kendra because they need the help.  I would like to say in advance thank you for any support you are able to supply be it monetary or even your prayers for this outstanding family.
